Iris Veneracion is the Director and Co-Founder of investCLUB for Women.
Iris Veneracion has over 11 years experience working in the mortgage finance industry. In 2004, she decided to leave her "important" corporate job at Etrade Financial and go full time with real estate investing. She started off her full time real estate career by doing rehabs in Orange County. Then she began investing out of state for "long term holds" and cashflow. She has invested in various areas such as CA, TX, OH, NY, IL, IN, NV, FL and GA.
Along with her partner, Bobi Alexander, they have managed a real estate portfolio of over 40 properties out of state and have bought, wholesaled and/or rehabbed and sold over 100 properties in Southern California. In 2008-9, due to the growing opportunity they saw in Southern California, they began liquidating their portfolio out of state to parlay their investments to buy and holds locally. Today, they focus all their investments, time and energy to the Southern California market holding as many they can and fixing and flipping for “chunk” cash. They use all private money for funding their renovations and also provide private money lending to other real estate investors who need money for their promising projects.
Iris believes in the "Power of Partnerships", relies on the resources of great relationships and stands behind the benefits of being part of an active real estate community. Although not all her investments have been perfect - she’s had some “homeruns” and also has taken some painful setbacks – she’ll be the first to share her lessons and experiences so others do not have to go through the same. Iris loves to socialize and have fun. She treats real estate investing as a business and understands that best way to learn is by taking action. She enjoys being the director of the dynamic group at investCLUB. She looks forward to meeting more powerful women and men interested in creating wealth and freedom through real estate investing.
